It is this Chapter's goal to foster patriotism and love for God, Home and Country. Help make this happen by getting involved with our service projects, as well as suggesting possible new endeavors. An example of some of our past Service projects include:
- Operation Shower: Bringing joy to military families, one shower at a time https://operationshower.org/
- Operation Paperback: Helping our troops escape into a good book since 1999. https://operationpaperback.org/
- Three Hots and a Cot: Serving Veterans https://www.facebook.com/ThreeHotsandACot/
- Soldiers Angels-Holiday stockings for Heroes https://soldiersangels.org/volunteer/special-campaigns/

Welcome to the Birmingham Territory Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, a group of patriotic, caring women in the greater Birmingham, Alabama area dedicated to activities that promote our country’s history and heritage.
We are a nonpartisan group of women who have traced their lineage to men and women patriots who served in or provided aid to the Revolutionary War. Chapter members support the three objectives of the National Society DAR: historic preservation, promotion of education and patriotic endeavor.
The more than 80 chapter members include juniors (ages 18 to 35), mothers, daughters, sisters and friends who span the generations. The group meets for lunch on the second Tuesday of the month from September through May for project updates and interesting programs featuring history, education, conservation, national defense and women’s issues.
We welcome new members and provide help to those interested in tracing their descent from patriots of the American Revolution.
